Meaning, Identity and Representation and Culture in Anglo-American Literature and Theatre
MIRCAALT is a research group concerned with the exploration of the meanings and representations of cultural and idenity aspects in the Anglo-American Literary and Theatrical scene. Its main research lines are those of Modern, Postmodern and Contemporary Literature, Gender and Feminist Studies, Queer Studies, Literary Theory and Women's Theatre. This academic circle aims at promoting English Literature by targeting contemporary relevant issues. More importantly, it attempts to do so while simultaneously choosing a welcoming environment for both experienced and young researchers.
